Missed Challenge Notifications and Forfeit Risk

I Invited someone for a challenge and while AFK on that tab and watching a youtube video(on the same browser) on another tab. They accepted and submitted their solution and I was completed blindsided. This UX suggests I should be actively watching and waiting on the page after making a challenge so I don't miss my submission window. Would be great if the notifications also triggered browser notifications so I would be alerted when a challenge is sent or when one I sent is accepted. Losing by forfeit without attempting or submitting a solution because I missed when my challenge was accepted is quite unfortunate( this second one is a stretch but winning because your opponent was not on seat might be too harsh, maybe consider async challenges i.e I challenge, get the question, solve mine with the time limit and submit, then when challenged accepts they can solve theirs and the winner is then compared)
